Dear Faithful Members,

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

We are so thrilled to be celebrating the 195TH Church Anniversary of our church and are excited to publish a memorable Cookbook filled with church history and great recipes to share for years to come.

As we look back over the years, we must take pause and be thankful to the Lord who has blessed us with His presence year in, and year out.  No, the road hasn’t always been easy, but I know you would agree with me that the good times far outnumber the difficult times! We have learned how to lean and depend on the Lord. We have come this far by faith.

Psalms 100:4-5 (KJV) 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

We trust you have a heart of thanksgiving to the Lord as you reflect on the history of the Cross Street Church.  The Bible lets us know that truly God inhabits the praises of His people, and as our Heavenly Father, He loves to hear His children’s voices rise as one voice of thanks to Him.

Yes, an Anniversary is a time of reflection and appreciation, however, I believe it is also a time for vision casting and dreaming about the future.  We live in a changing and challenging world, and the need for the church has never been greater!  Share the news about the love and faithful service at the Cross Street Church with your friends, family and neighbors.

YOU are the best advertisement we have, so please don’t hesitate to share the importance of this church with others.

We know you will enjoy using and sharing this fantastic 195th Church Anniversary Cookbook! You can contact the church office (860 344-9527) to order this special Historical and memorable Cookbook. You will soon be able to order on-line.

Blessings in Christ,

Pastor Moses Harvill & First Lady Eledia Harvill
